Austin Air Allergy Machine Replacement Filter

The Austin Air Allergy Machine HEGA Filter integrates technology developed by the military, a military grade carbon cloth for removing odors and gases. The Austin Air Allergy Machine HEGA Filter combines this cloth with an outer filter called a Highly Efficient Particulate Arresting (HEPA) filter that traps airborne particles, including dirt, lint, and hair. This combination removes and absorbs the smallest of airborne particles and chemical gas contaminants.The Austin Air Allergy Machine HEGA Filter integration design is called the High Efficiency Gas Absorption (HEGA) filter. Harmful airborne particles are removed 99.97% of the time for particles as small as 0.3 microns and 95% for minute particles down to 0.1 microns.

The Austin Air Allergy Machine™ provides a comprehensive air cleaning solution, removing allergens, asthma irritants, sub-micron particles, chemicals and noxious gases. Every minute, The Allergy Machine™ draws over 250 cubic feet of air through a 4-stage HEGA filter containing Activated Military Carbon Cloth and over 60 square feet of True Medical Grade HEPA. Fits the Standard size Allergy Machine air purifiers. Includes an Austin Air Pre-filter.

Filter Specifications

• STAGE 1 – Large Particle Pre-filter. Removes particles easily seen by the naked eye (e.g. dust, hair and pet dander)
• STAGE 2 – Medium Particle Pre-filter. Removes small to medium size particles (e.g. molds, spores and pollen) Color: gray, blue or green
• STAGE 3 – 60 sq. ft. of True Medical Grade HEPA. Removes 99.97% of all particles larger than 0.3 microns and 95% of all particles larger than 0.1 microns.
• STAGE 4 – Military Grade HEGA Carbon Cloth. HEGA (High Efficiency Gas Arrestance), providing an extremely large surface area for adsorption of chemicals, gases, viruses and bacteria.

It measures 13.5″D x 14.5″H with foam gaskets for a tight seal.

All replacement filter cartridges will also come with a replacement pre-filter.

Note:  When selecting your Pre-Filter color, you will select White for the White, Sandstone, Pink or Baby Blue Models.  Black is for use in the Black or Midnight Blue models.
