The Austin Air HealthMate Jr. Plus Filter<\/strong> provides the same benefits as the standard Austin Air HealthMate Filters<\/strong> <\/a>and additionally includes potassium iodide (along with the zeolite), delivering greater relief for people with severe chemical sensitivities. We recommend the Austin Air HealthMate Jr. Plus Filter<\/strong> where there is need for cleaning the air in difficult air quality problem locations, tough jobs and for locations with there are heavy concentrations of air pollution.<\/p>\n

The Austin Air Healthmate Plus Junior HEPA Replacement filter is impregnated with Potassium Iodide for absorption of more odors and gases, the SuperBlend filter is specifically designed for the Chemically Sensitive person.<\/p>\n

Along with all of the protection of the standard HEPA filter, the carbon\/zeolite in the SuperBlend has been specially treated with potassium iodide – a special compound that enhances the absorption of thousands of odors and gases.<\/p>\n

  • STAGE 3 \u2013 Over 270 cubic inches of Activated Carbon, Potassium Iodide Impregnated Carbon and Zeolite. Removes Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), formaldehyde, benzenes, chemicals, gases and odors.<\/li>\n
