The total number of COVID-19 deaths in the UK has now reached 36,591 according to the Office for National Statistics.<\/p>\n

The number of new deaths fell by over 2,000, the smallest increase for a month. Care home deaths are now making up an increasing share of the total number of deaths in the UK. <\/p>\n
