{"id":14206,"date":"2020-05-08T20:01:03","date_gmt":"2020-05-09T00:01:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/airpurifierspecialist.com\/store\/?p=14206"},"modified":"2020-05-18T01:00:17","modified_gmt":"2020-05-18T05:00:17","slug":"b-c-fitness-clubs-yoga-studios-gyms-not-expected-to-be-reopened-until-summer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/airpurifierspecialist.com\/store\/b-c-fitness-clubs-yoga-studios-gyms-not-expected-to-be-reopened-until-summer\/","title":{"rendered":"B.C. fitness clubs, yoga studios, gyms not expected to be reopened until summer"},"content":{"rendered":"<article>\n<p>Gyms, fitness clubs and yoga studios are not part of the next phase of B.C.\u2019s re-opening plan when restrictions start easing on May 19.<\/p>\n<p>Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry says the province has seen the transmission of COVID-19 in gyms in B.C. and many facilities are not able to meet the physical distancing requirement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t see gyms being in the first or second phase,\u201d Henry said Friday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re probably looking at the third phase if things continue to go as well as they have in terms of numbers of cases. Because again, there will be restrictions. Numbers of people, depending on the size of the facility, your ability to clean, not congregating in the washrooms or changing areas.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The province is currently in the first phase of the pandemic reopening plan. But currently we are not being given a chance to show that.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis affects us in many ways,\u201d she continued. \u201cMany small gyms are family operations or \u2018solopreneur\u2019\/partnerships operations. The order expires on May 31 but could be extended.<\/p>\n<p>The smaller gym operators have spoken to a lawyer and are working on a \u201crequest for reconsideration\u201d of the Fraser Health order.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMany of us also don\u2019t qualify for federal government programs either,\u201d Agtarap said. \u201cThis is our only income, in many cases.
