{"id":12359,"date":"2020-04-20T16:13:27","date_gmt":"2020-04-20T20:13:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/airpurifierspecialist.com\/store\/?p=12359"},"modified":"2020-05-20T19:03:24","modified_gmt":"2020-05-20T23:03:24","slug":"sha-advising-against-all-non-essential-travel-to-northern-alberta","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/airpurifierspecialist.com\/store\/sha-advising-against-all-non-essential-travel-to-northern-alberta\/","title":{"rendered":"SHA advising against all non-essential travel to northern Alberta"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>SASKATOON &#8212;<br \/>\n\tThe Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is putting new precautions into place, after some northern Saskatchewan COVID-19 cases were linked to northern Alberta communities.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.saskhealthauthority.ca\/news\/releases\/Pages\/2020\/April\/PHA-for-Northern-Saskatchewan-.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">In a release Saturday,<\/a> the SHA recommended that any northern Saskatchewan residents returning from northern Alberta self-isolate for 14 days.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tRegional Medical Health Officers are also advising against all non-essential travel between north-west Saskatchewan and northern Alberta effective immediately.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tNorthern health authorities are currently contact tracing to investigate cases of the virus connected to travel between north-west Saskatchewan and Alberta.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThere have been also been reports of multiple COVID-19 cases identified at an oil sands facility north of Fort McMurray.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tDue to the close connections between communities with regular interprovincial work-related travel, the SHA said there is potential for community transmission if non-essential trips continue.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAnyone self-isolating should monitor themselves for COVID-19 symptoms, including fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, chills, diminished sense of smell, body aches, shortness of breath, and breathing difficulties.
