{"id":11824,"date":"2020-04-14T16:28:00","date_gmt":"2020-04-14T20:28:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/airpurifierspecialist.com\/store\/?p=11824"},"modified":"2020-05-25T11:25:34","modified_gmt":"2020-05-25T15:25:34","slug":"18-residents-of-almonte-long-term-care-home-have-died-from-covid-19-complications","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/airpurifierspecialist.com\/store\/18-residents-of-almonte-long-term-care-home-have-died-from-covid-19-complications\/","title":{"rendered":"18 residents of Almonte long-term care home have died from COVID-19 complications"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>OTTAWA  &#8212;<br \/>\n\tEighteen residents of a long-term care home in Almonte have now died from COVID-19 complications.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tIn a statement to residents\u2019 families, administrator Carolyn Della Foresta says \u201ctwo additional residents at Almonte Country Haven have passed away from COVID-19 related complications.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cAll of us in the extended Almonte Country Haven family are grieving these losses.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tEighteen residents at the 82-bed Almonte Country Haven have died from COVID-19 related complications since the end of March.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tDella Foresta says Almonte Country Haven is working with the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Long-Term Care to ensure it\u2019s proactively following all protocols and directives.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cOur number one priority has always been the health and safety of our residents and our front-line staff.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tOn Monday, the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit said there were 176 cases of COVID-19 in its region.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAt Stonebridge Manor Long Term Care Home in Carleton Place, 29 residents and 19 staff members have tested positive for COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tTwo residents of the home passed away due to COVID-19 complications.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ottawa.ctvnews.ca\/18-residents-of-almonte-long-term-care-home-have-died-from-covid-19-complications-1.4895957\" class=\"button purchase\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Read More<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>OTTAWA &#8212; Eighteen residents of a long-term care home in Almonte have now died from COVID-19 complications.
