Two are in intensive care.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tFour people have recovered from the virus in the province so far. The total number of COVID-19 related deaths in Manitoba remains at one.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cPublic health investigations are ongoing and as details are confirmed our website will be updated,\u201d said, Dr. Brent Roussin, Manitoba\u2019s Chief Provincial Public Health Offier.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tTuesday evening, updated information on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.mb.ca\/covid19\/flights.html\">Province&#8217;s website<\/a>, showed someone who now has a confirmed case of COVID-19 attended an event at the Club Reagent Casino on March 16.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>HEALTH CARE WORKER TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n\tPublic health officials have also confirmed that a staff member at Selkirk Regional Health Centre has tested positive for COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tDr. Roussin said the individual worked in the health centre\u2019s emergency department and medicine ward from March 19 to March 23.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cPublic Health, Occupational Health, and Infection prevention and control staff are working together to investigate this case and follow up with all identified close contacts including staff and patients,\u201d said Dr. Roussin.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tDr. Roussin said public health will directly contact people who had prolonged (more than 10 minutes), close (within two metres) contact with the person when they were symptomatic. Those people will be required to self-isolate for 14 days.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tDates and times of possible exposure include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\tMarch 19 from 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Selkirk Regional Health Centre Emergency Department;<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tMarch 20 from 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Selkirk Regional Health Centre Emergency Department;<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tMarch 21 from 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Selkirk Regional Health Centre Emergency Department;<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tMarch 22 from 11:45 p.m. to March 23 7:45 a.m. in the Selkirk Regional Health Centre Emergency Department.
