The 5-Stage Filter for the National Sleep Foundation Bedroom Machine by Austin Air Filter is the best overall protection and particulate Austin Air Filter specifically designed to give you and your family better quality sleep.

It meets all true HEPA standards, trapping 99.97% of all particles larger than .3 microns (1/300th the diameter of a human hair). Efficiently removes most allergens including pollen, pet dander, tobacco smoke, mold, and bacteria.

Filter Specifications 

• STAGE 1 – Large Particle Pre-filter. Removes particles easily seen by the naked eye (e.g. dust, hair and pet dander)
• STAGE 2 – Medium Particle Pre-filter. Removes small to medium size particles (e.g. molds, spores and pollen) Color: gray, blue or green
• STAGE 3 – Over 780 cubic inches of Activated Carbon and Zeolite Removes chemicals, gases and odors
• STAGE 4 – 60 sq. ft. of True Medical Grade HEPA. Removes 99.97% of all particles larger than 0.3 microns and 95% of all particles larger than 0.1 microns.
• STAGE 5 – Military Grade HEGA Carbon Cloth. HEGA (High Efficiency Gas Arrestance), providing an extremely large surface area for adsorption of chemicals, gases, viruses and bacteria

It measures 13.5″D x 14.5″H with foam gaskets for a tight seal.

All replacement filter cartridges will also come with a replacement pre-filter.

Note:  When selecting your Pre-Filter color, you will select White for the White, Sandstone, Pink or Baby Blue Models.  Black is for use in the Black or Midnight Blue models.
