Close to 500 of Waterloo Region’s coronavirus cases are now resolved.
According to the latest data from Region of Waterloo Public Health, another 14 cases have been resolved, meaning that total is now at 493 (52 per cent).
There are eight new cases Monday, for a total of 940.
An additional death has also been reported at Trinity Village long-term care, where 15 residents have passed away.
45 residents and 41 staff at Trinity have or had the virus.
An outbreak, declared April 1, at Forest Heights Revera, also remains active – 166 residents and 65 staff have tested positive. There have been 45 deaths at the home.
