Ontario is reporting 361 new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday and 56 more deaths.
The new cases represent an increase of 1.8 per cent over Monday.
The latest numbers bring the province to a total of 20,907 cases, including 1,725 deaths.
The data shows 15,391 cases have been resolved, which represents about 73 per cent of the total number of cases.
Roughly 12 per cent of patients with COVID-19 have been hospitalized. There are 192 people currently in intensive care units and of those cases, 146 are on a ventilator to assist with breathing.
There were just under 11,957 tests completed in the previous day, the lowest total in a week.
The government has pledged to do 16,000 tests a day, moving toward 20,000 a day.
Nearly 460,000 tests have been completed since Jan. 15.
Four more outbreaks have been declared at long-term care homes in the province, bringing the total to 249.
As of Monday, Niagara Region was reporting 561 confirmed cases and 412 resolved cases; Halton Region had 518 confirmed cases and 451 recoveries; and Hamilton had 489 confirmed cases and 350 resolved cases.
