Alert Level 4

The province will move from Alert Level 5 into Alert Level 4 after midnight tonight.

Some activities and businesses will be  permitted to reopen, as long as social distancing and the public health measures currently in place can be maintained.

Funerals, weddings and burials will be able host up to 10 people but visitations and wakes remain prohibited.

Personal services may resume in-person activity at the start of next week, some of these services include accounting firms, law firms and financial services.

Municipal parks may also reopen on Monday but playground equipment cannot be used.

Hunting, angling and golfing will be allowed, but fitness facilities and team sports will not.

As for businesses and services, regulated childcare, animal daycare, and garden and landscaping centres can reopen during Alert Level 4 but bars, personal service establishments and in-person dining cannot.

The regional health authorities will be resuming some services, a full list of these services will be made available to the public soon.

Private healthcare services are to remain closed except for emergency services.

Virtual healthcare services will continue and are recommended to be used as much as possible.
