A hospitalized man in his 80s is the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit area’s 11th confirmed COVD-19 case.
The health unit says the man contracted COVID-19 in the community. No further details were released.
On Saturday, the health unit reported that a man in his 20s contracted COVID-19. The man, who is self-isolating, acquired the virus in the community.
Of the health unit area’s 11 total cases, eight are from Nipissing District and three from Parry Sound District, according to the health unit’s website.
Six of the cases have been resolved and four individuals remain in hospital.
The other three hospitalized individuals are a woman in her 80s who travelled to Mexico, a man in his 60s who travelled to Arizona and a man in his 60s who contracted COVID-19 in the community.
Ontario is reporting 7,049 confirmed cases, including 274 deaths and 3,121 resolved.
There are 24,301 confirmed and presumptive cases in Canada.
