There are 144 lab-confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in Haldimand and Norfolk counties as of Tuesday morning.

There was no increase in cases from Monday.

There have been 17 COVID-19 related deaths in the two counties.

On Monday, Anson Place retirement and long-term care facility in Hagersville reported 15 COVID-19 deaths. A total of 55 residents — 36 in long-term care and 19 in the retirement residence — and 30 staff have tested positive.  

In its daily report, the H-N Health Unit said there are 513 lab-confirmed negative cases and 16 people are listed as recovered from the virus.
